About Us

Dear Student,

Many University of Arizona study abroad programs are open to non-UA students. The programs listed below offer UA credit, which means that the courses you complete abroad will be documeted on an official UA transcript.

Each year, hundreds of students from across the country earn University of Arizona credit by studying abroad. The UA Office of Study Abroad and Student Exchange offers students from colleges and universities around the United States a full range of advising and support services. These services focus on such issues as program selection, academic planning, registration, credit, financial aid, and on-site support.

If you are a non-UA student and would like to take part in one of our programs, you will need to complete both our online application and the UA application for non-degree admission. This will enable you to receive UA credit for transfer back to your home institution. Below is a list of our faculty-led programs currently open to non-UA students:

  1. Explore the programs above by clicking here.
  2. Contact UA Office of Study Abroad to take advantage of our advising and planning services
  3. Apply early. As soon as you select a program, complete both our online application and the UA application for non-degree admission
  4. Meet with your academic advisor to discuss how your earned units will apply toward your major/minor
  5. Finance your journey. UA's Office of Study Abroad and Student Exchange will work with your home institution to facilitate your aid for study abroad. Contact both UA's Office of Study Abroad and the financial aid office at your home institution to discuss specific financial aid options.
